How to connect your PayPal account

To start making money on your videos via subscriptions or PPV, you first need to add a payment gateway.
Bamboo Cloud can integrate with your PayPal account at no cost, we don't even take any fees!

To make the integration happen, we would need an endpoint and your secret/id.
And you would need to set a callback in PayPal with your site URL.

This is currently done via our support (support@bamboo-cloud.com).

Please send us your: account email (the main PayPal email account), clientId, secret and webhookId.

Those can be found under the developer in  PayPal.

To get all the details login to the developer dashboard on your PayPal account->
Choose My Apps & Credentials and then don't forget to choose "Live" and not "Sandbox".

Press on "Create app", Choose a name for it.
After doing that you will get all the details needed to integrate your PayPal account.

At the top part you'll see your PayPal account email and client ID.

Press "Show" under secret and send us your secret.

To get you Webhook ID, press "Add Webhook", choose "All events".

You will need to set a callback to your Bamboo site (Webhook URL), it needs to look like this:

https://yoursiteURL/api/purchasecallbackpaypal

For example:

https://michal.bamboo-video.com/api/purchasecallbackpaypal

Your Site URL, can also be found under the "Account" module- "Domain".

** Don't use app.bamboo-video.com, choose one of the custom URL field

After you setup your Webhook, please copy your Webhook ID and send it over with all the other parameters.
